Hi - hope for 47 year old with recent heart transplant?

great the first two weeks - but then POW! pleurisy, shingles, now mono. can this come from the new heart???? or, is it the drugs? very nausious from medications, losing weight, can't eat. personally know two other people with heart transplants who had awful first year but doing very well now. any hope for this friend seeing better days ahead? thank you very much!
