What do Americans think of the British Commonwealth of Nations?
The huge British Empire and Commonwealth that includes both present colonies and former colonies in which Queen Elizabeth II rules as Head of State? Be it solely symbolic, it is quite a feat to be Queen of 54 countries. Some developed nations in which Queen is Head of State and are part of the Commonwealth are the USA's neighbour to the north Canada, then there's Australia and New Zealand. Then there is India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Rhodesia, Kenya, Malta, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua, etc. There are 54 nations in the British Commonwealth. That means the Queen (or any subsequent monarch) of the United Kingdom rules over the most countries in the world than any other leader has in the past, present, or future.
