Is anyone as impressed with the results of affirmative action as I am?

When I got to college in the early 70's, I was shocked at how few blacks there were on campus. Affirmative Action changed that. One of the black kids I went to school with is now the governor of New York. And a black kid who arrived on campus a few years later was sworn in today as President of the United States. I'd say Affirmative Action has done a pretty good job.
