Does anyone know if Ithica Model 49 Lever Single Shots came with a Dovetail scope mount ?

I have an old model 49 Ithaca single shot lever action with a dove tail mount on the barrel where the rear sight normally would be and a Bushnell phantom long eye relief scope from the same era on the gun. The gun was found in pieces in a closet of my house so i restored it and found a few parts guns to make it shoot like new. I was just wondering if the mount was silver soldered on after market or if this was a complete gun option? and what the value is ? Thanks, All help is appreciated. Kris (Houlton, Maine 04730)
