It is known that children are more likely to aware of sound of the language through nursery rhyme. It can be seen a primary stage of language developing. Rhyming actually helps children discover sound similarities in language. This ists children to reinforce the learn letter-sound correspondences strongly. Hence, an awareness of rhythm and rhyme has a significant role to play in literacy development. It not only has potential positive affects of reading achievement, but also leads to the development of phoneme awareness (Bonnie M. Macmillan, 2002; Konza, 2006).
