why leave it to dad ok you're 16 now so confront the person yourself. tell her nicely you have the coursework to do and ask kindly if she'd be just a bit more thoughtful .handle the result depending on her attitude I can understand your dad he perhaps thinks it wouldn't work asking her.some people can be very rude.only other option is move.
