Can it be hardworking illegal Mexican sentenced to 111 months in prison for illegal re-entry, brandising?

It's obvious simple deportation does no good, so maybe it is time for tougher punishment. That he only got 9 years for an armed robbery is proof that the system has been too lenient with this particular illegal, and so he isn't being properly discouraged from committing crimes. This is why I say the first time a foreign national is caught in the US illegally, they should be sentenced to a minimum 5 years at a prison farm. After the second offense, the sentence should double to a mandatory minimum of 10 years. Anything after that should earn them a long sentence (possible life) in a hard labor camp.
