Are all religions just cults disguised as paths to enlightenment or?

is there one true religion and god is just sitting back watching us argue and kill each other over which god is real, but in fact its all the same thing just with a different name that came to be because of peoples needs according to their environment but because of peoples insecurities, fears and egos they've decided to judge each other even though their religion specifically says not to?
